Conference Programs

Silent Auction & Raffle

In support of the Intern & Scholarship Programs, the EAMC instituted the 1st Annual Scholarship Raffle in 2004 to provide transportation, registration and hotel accommodations for interns, and registration for scholarship winners. In 2006, a Silent Auction was added and it nearly doubled the proceeds.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, attendees and volunteers, the EAMC Silent Auction & Raffle and 50/50 Raffle have raised a total of $70,000 over the past 14 years to benefit the EAMC Intern and Scholarship program.

The EAMC Committee looks forward to sponsoring another unique and fun-filled Silent Auction and Raffle in 2017 and greatly appreciates everyone's support of this worthwhile cause.

If you have an item you would like to donate to the 2017 Silent Auction & Raffle, or would like to join our committee please contact Cindy Underwood-Oleshak.

EAMC Conference Scholarships for Industry Professionals

Due to the overwhelming support over the years with the Raffle & Silent Auction, EAMC is able to offer a Conference Scholarship for Industry Professionals. This Scholarship is different from a Conference Intern, as this opportunity is open to attendees who work in the industry and have never attended the Conference or have attended in the past, but for financial reasons would not be able to attend this year. Up to four Scholarship recipients are chosen based on financial need and have their registration fee covered by EAMC. Travel to the conference and hotel accommodations are the recipient's responsibility.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a full-time employee in the Event and Arena Marketing Industry.
  • Must be a first-time attendee or returning attendee who would not be able to attend this year's conference due to financial difficulty.

Selection Criteria:

Applications will be judged by the EAMC Scholarship Committee based on:

  • Eligibility
  • Letter of Recommendation from Supervisor
  • Personal Essay
  • Special consideration will be given to EAMC Planning members or anyone that has significantly contributed to the conference in the past.

Scholarship recipients may be asked to assist EAMC Planning Committee members throughout the conference if the need arises.
