A Message Regarding EAMC 2020
To our Event and Arena Marketing Conference Family,
It’s with a heavy heart that after extensive discussions with the EAMC Board Officers, Board of Directors and Planning Committee, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule the 2020 Event and Arena Marketing Conference to June 2021. We are already at work on our plans for 2021 and look forward to sharing them with you at a later date. I want to thank our friends at the Target Center, Xcel Energy Center and U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota for all their efforts preparing for the 2020 conference.
The Event & Arena Marketing Conference will continue its dedication to the talented professionals that cross the scope of the live entertainment industry. More than ever we recognize the importance of networking, educating and sharing trends and ideas as a critical aspect of not only the Event & Arena Marketing Conference, but the success of the live entertainment industry.
Even without a live conference in 2020, we will bring EAMC into your home. Plan to join us on Thursday, April 30 for our first EAMC webinar. Details to follow.
We also want to strongly encourage you to please join the EAMC Message Board group on Facebook. This is a discussion board, separate than our page, for people to share ideas, ask questions, and lean on each other during this trying time. There are already lots of suggestions and approaches on there and we need your voice! We are stronger together. Click the link below and request to join the group:
We can't wait to see everyone when the conference returns in 2021! If you have already registered for the 2020 conference you will have a choice of a full refund or credit to apply toward 2021 EAMC registration. Those who have already registered for the conference will receive a separate email with full details. Please also be sure to cancel any hotel reservations.
I’ll leave you today sharing some words from EAMC Veteran, Bob Collins. Bob writes, “Although canceling this year's conference would be contrary to the adage that "The Show Must Go On"... this could be the time when another old saying applies: "Discretion is the better part of valor."
Wishing you the best, especially under these circumstances. Stay safe & we look forward to seeing you ALL in 2021.
