Conference Programs

Silent Auction & Raffle

In support of its Intern/Scholarship Program, the EAMC instituted its 1st Annual Scholarship Raffle in 2004 to benefit the program's objectives. The goal was to be able to provide registration fees, hotel accommodations and a travel stipend to each award recipient. Due to the popularity of the raffle and the generous support of the conference attendees, the 2004 Raffle raised over $1,200 toward the 2005 intern program. Proceeds from the 2005 Raffle more than doubled with over $2,700 going toward the 2006 Intern/Scholarship program and doubled again in 2007 contributing $5,000 to our program.  2009 was a huge success as eight interns and three scholarship recipients were able to attend the conference. 2010 was our best year ever, we raised nearly $7500! We look forward to continued success with this program and appreciate our attendees' support in our efforts.

PALS Program

The PALS program (Peers to Assist and Lend Support) was created to match first-time EAMC conference participants with veteran attendees. The program has two goals:

  1. 1.  to provide information about the conference prior to arriving so that new attendees can enjoy all of the activities
  2. 2.  to begin a network of arena marketing professionals that shares ideas and insights not just at the conference but throughout the year.

Attendees who indicate on the registration form that they are attending the EAMC for the first time will receive additional e-mails with tips and other helpful information leading up to the Conference. First-time attendees will also have the opportunity to be matched with a veteran while at the conference.

At the start of each annual conference, first time attendees are welcomed to the event at the Newcomer Orientation. This event will take place in the afternoon. For more information contact us.
